STEEL PIPES
A pipe is a tubular section or hollow cylinder primarily used to transport fluids and gases (fluids). Tube and pipe are frequently used interchangeably, but they are not the same. Tubing is used in structural applications and pipe is used to transport liquids. A pipe is typically classified as either seamless or welded. Welded pipe is created by shaping a flat piece of steel into a round shape and fusing the edges together. Seamless pipe is created by drawing a solid piece of steel over a mandrel, resulting in a solid tube with no weld seam.
Pipe size is most commonly stated as Nominal Pipe for both seamless and welded pipe.
As a distributor of welded and seamless carbon steel pipe, we offer a wide variety of standard pipe types, such as ERW and seamless, black, and galvanized. Shaping at the end can be square, beveled, or plain. There is also coupled and threaded material available.
